What this policy covers
This policy covers visitors to this website only.
Personal data that we process on behalf of our clients in the course of engineering projects is governed by the agreements we sign with those clients, not by this policy. If you are a client and need our data processing terms, ask us and we will send them.
A short summary
This website has no contact forms, no user accounts and no online payments. It sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking scripts of any kind, and it embeds no third-party content.
The only data generated by browsing this site is the technical record that any web server keeps. Everything else reaches us because you chose to contact us.
Data we process
Server log data. Our web server automatically records, for each request: the IP address of the visiting device, the date and time, the page or file requested, the HTTP status returned, the referring page where one is sent by your browser, and the browser and operating system identifiers contained in the user-agent string. This happens for every website and is required for the site to function and to stay secure.
Data you give us when you get in touch. If you contact us using the details on this site, we hold what you choose to tell us: typically your name, your contact details, the organisation you represent and the substance of your enquiry, together with our subsequent correspondence.
We do not ask for and do not want special categories of data, and this website is not directed at children.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
We use server log data to deliver the site, to diagnose faults, and to detect and investigate attacks, abuse and unauthorised access attempts. Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing our own website, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use enquiry data to answer you and, where it leads to a project, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b), and, for keeping a record of business correspondence, Article 6(1)(f).
Under Israeli law we process personal data in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law 5741-1981 and the regulations made under it.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no local or session storage. Nothing is written to your device beyond your browser's ordinary cache. For that reason no cookie consent banner is shown.
Who else sees the data
Our hosting provider processes server log data on our instructions, under a contract that restricts what it may do with that data. Our email provider processes correspondence on the same footing.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not disclose it to anyone else except where we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority, or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where the data is held
Our servers and our records are located in Israel. Israel is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred from the European Economic Area, so no additional transfer mechanism is required for data reaching us from the EEA.
How long we keep it
Server logs are retained for 90 days and then deleted or anonymised, except where a specific log has to be preserved longer for the investigation of a security incident.
Enquiry correspondence is kept for the duration of our discussions and, where a contract follows, for as long as that relationship lasts plus the period during which claims may still be brought. Where an enquiry leads nowhere, we delete it within 12 months.
Your rights
Under Israeli law you may ask to review the personal data we hold about you, and to have data corrected or deleted where it is incorrect, incomplete or out of date.
Where the GDPR applies to our processing, you also have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, get in touch through the contact details on our home page. We will respond within the period the applicable law allows. We may need to ask you for information that lets us identify you, so that we do not disclose your data to someone else.
Complaints
You may complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work. We would rather you came to us first, and we will take the complaint seriously.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to a website of this kind, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), restricted administrative access and regular updating of server software. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

We will update this policy when the way the site works changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be announced on this page.
